IELTS Listening General Practice Test 2023 (available with Answers): This is the 40^th test of our LISTENING Practice Test Series. All tests are based on real exam patterns and correspond to the actual difficulty level you may find in the IELTS.

This 2022-23 General Listening test is divided into four sections – 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Section 1 is a woman being interviewed by a police officer about an incident she saw the previous evening.

Section 2 is a recorded message giving information about an English hotel.

Section 3 is a discussion between three students about their study programme.

Section 4 is a talk given by a university lecturer in Australia on a type of bird called ‘Peregrine falcon’.

The answers are given in order. For example, if you hear the answer to question 10, but didn’t hear the answer for question 9, then you simply missed question 9 and you will not hear the answer again. So just guess the answer to question 9 and move on to the next set of questions in the 2023 IELTS General Listening Test.
