Wallet (IELTS Speaking Part-1)
In the IELTS Speaking Part-1 Wallet topic, there will be a Question & Answer session between the candidate and the examiner with 5-6 questions at most.
The examiner will also ask some general questions at the beginning about the candidate, for instance, about where you live, where you work, study etc.
The questions that you need to answer are:

1. Do you use a wallet?
Yes! I use a wallet everyday to keep all my personal belongings, travel documents, money and cards protected from theft, damage or weather exposure. No doubt, It’s a great accessory that can help to define your style and be part of your image.

Yes, I keep my credit cards, cash, and crucial receipts and paperwork in it. It is dangerous to carry loose cash and cards in one’s pocket or immediately in a bag. In the event that it rains, a wallet protects our belongings from getting wet.
2. Have you ever lost a wallet?
Yes, I had a pretty bad day last week. I went to a restaurant and lost my wallet there. There is almost no more sinking feeling than losing your personal and financial belongings with the wallet.

Yes, once I lost my wallet on the subway. I was going to college and paid for my train ticket. When I got off the train, I realized I didn’t have my wallet. I reported the theft but all efforts go in vain.
3. Have you ever sent a wallet to someone as a gift?
Well, Let me recall…! Yes, I have sent a crossbody wallet as a birthday gift to my mother. Her old wallet was in a tattered state when I last saw it. So, I surprised her with a new one.

Once I gifted my father a wallet on his 50th birthday. I have seen him using the same wallet for years. It was very old, and the leather lost its texture. He was very delighted to see my gift.
4. Do most of your friends use a wallet?
My friends are actually crazy about wallets. They think the wallet is a powerful symbol of wealth, success and ability—and all that is, in particular, because it carries money.
