Introducing a time you visited new place

Family vacations are the best times of any year. Whenever my holidays start, I start wondering which new place is going to be my destination this vacation. But today, I’d love to talk about an interesting place that I’ve visited recently.

Where the new place is?

We plan a family vacation every year. This year, we planned to visit Shimla – the capital of Himachal Pradesh.

When you went there?

We went to Shimla to celebrate new year eve on 31st Dec. We were all excited as we were going to explore a new city.

Why you went there?

Ever since I learnt about Shimla from my friends I wanted to visit the place. So we planned a long trip and had set a schedule so that we do not miss any fun in Shimla. Most importantly, we wanted to experience ice-skating which is prominently open from December to February.

Explain how you feel about the place?

The place has its own charm. Firstly, we enjoyed a fun-filled toy train ride between Kalka and Shimla. Then we head on to the ultimate fun place called Kufri which is about 16 km from Shimla. This place has beautiful natural sceneries and we also enjoyed Yak riding. After that, we played ice skating and celebrated the new year late at night.

Concluding the cue card

In the end, I would just tell you that Shimla stands true to its tag of “queen of hills”. The place was captivating as the stars, the nightlife, the bonfire, and the far-stretched hills were calling me to revisit the place.
