IELTS Speaking Part 1 – STAGES OF LIFE [Answers + Band 9 Vocabulary]
In IELTS Speaking Part 1, there will be a Question & Answer session between the candidate and the examiner around a specific topic, such as Stages of life in this case. The examiner will also ask some general questions in the beginning about the candidate, for instance, about where you live, where you work, study etc.
Part 1 focuses on the ability to share personal information and opinions on everyday life. There is no fixed quota of questions and the examiner is free to ask any number of questions. It lasts for around 4-5 minutes.

Do you enjoy your current stage of life?
Yes, I pretty much enjoy my current phase of life, I am presently a software developer working for a multinational company. weekdays are filled with work challenges; solving real world problems through softwares, while weekends are well enjoyed with friends and family. What else could somebody need from life after having all this?
In what stage of your life were you the happiest?
For me, Childhood was indeed the happiest stage of my life. It is a special phase where we are cared and nurtured by everyone around. I was pampered the most being a child.
Which stage of your life do you think is the most important?
Well, from my personal standpoint, all stages of life are quintessential for holistic growth & development. But Childhood..I believe..is most important phase. A child is as innocent as dove and his mind can be moulded into any form. Hence, this stage of life determines the fate of a nation.
What’s your plan for your next stage of life?
Like I am working right now, so the next stage of my life is to get married and start a family. You know… everyone needs someone to be on their side in this exhilarating journey of life. I think the time has come that I should move on to the next stage of my life.
