Introduction

Life is beautiful but not always easy. It has problems too, and the challenge lies in facing them with courage, letting the beauty of life act like a painkiller.

So today, I would like to talk about a person who faced real world problems head on and provided solutions to many.

Who the person is?

He is none other than my beloved younger brother – Rahul. He is perceived to be the smartest guy in our family.

While I was diligent in my studies and would cry if my grades lessened even a little, my brother hates to study. He loves to play and experiment with things all the time. If he fails in a subject, he doesn’t care. He shrugs it off and goes on to play with his laptop.

What the problem was?

But, once he has done wonders! Actually, few days back, while I was rushing to go to my office; I realized at the eleventh hour that my Macbook was not turning ON.

I ran through the various checks and changes to get my Mac boot up and start working again, but my efforts were all in vain. Then I called my brother to see if he can come up with some solution.

How he/she solved it?

Rahul pressed and hold the power button for a few seconds until the Mac started up in safe mode. After that, he went onto clearing some caches and made some changes with the system software.

So he figured out the root cause of the problem was a recent spyware/antivirus update. He quickly uninstalled the spyware app and voila all glitches were removed.

Explain why you think he/she did it in a smart way?

I think he actually did it smartly!

Firstly, he asked me any recent changes that I made to the laptop and he made a note of them. You see… he tackled the problem in an organized fashion.

He pulled out his smartphone and looked at antivirus reviews, unfortunately they were all bad and I had been trapped under the influence of their glittery ads.

It made me look like fool. Anyway, he smartly did the rest of the troubleshooting and became my saviour.
